Greg has coached Junior Elite and Elite BMX Athletes to National Championship Titles, Pan American Games Gold and UCI World Championship Medals. He is currently working with several Olympic Hopefuls in preparation for the 2008 Olympic Summer Games. Greg also headed up the coaching for USA Cycling National Team squads including the 2007 World Championship and several World Cup BMX Teams in 2006 and 2007. Putting together a perfect fusion of both education and top pro level racing experience, Greg Romero specializes in high performance BMX training program design. Greg also works as a consultant with the United States Olympic Committee and USA Cycling, interfacing high performance BMX in the field of Sport and Cycling Science.
As a top BMX pro, Greg spent 7 seasons riding for the high-powered GT BMX Team accomplishing many accolades, including winning $10,000 cash filled brief cases to Honda Motorcycles. Greg has also reached the podium at the 1997 UCI World Championships, landing a silver medal in the Elite Men category. The former ABA Pro Rookie of the Year has amassed an impressive 48 Elite wins and has won the ABA Pro World Cup title twice. Greg resides in Oklahoma where he and his fiancé Nikol, a Professional Ballet Dancer and Certified Fitness Trainer, own an All Women Fitness Facility.
